I realize now that I will never have time to create a whole new website from scratch. It has been “Relaunching” for almost 6 years now, and with my recently added responsibilities the demands on my time have increased, which makes it almost impossible for me to actually work on it.

So, instead of waiting for some free time (which I will probably never have) to reinvent the wheel (which I probably won’t enjoy doing and will suck at), I decided to use the excellent WordPress and relaunch Artofshadi.com as a blog (which is basically what it used to be in its last incarnation).

I will be developing a custom theme based on some old design ideas for this website that I had, and eventually I will start adding some content. Content added will be old and not so old pieces of art, and some text pieces I’ve done after the site went on hiatus and never put anywhere. I am considering retroactively marking everything with its original date of creation, whenever possible.

‘Till then, I will be keeping the blog unlinked from the homepage.
