Ana I'm so bored with this site right now, wanna trash it.
Just for fun, here is a couple of the designs for the new version:

The left skin/theme is the default/classic one. The one at the right is a proposed skin.
Some of you have seen this before. Basically the idea is that the site will become skinnable on both administration and user level. N yeah, i will start using cookies *shrugs*
Some of the ideas that I'm thinking of implementing and/or implementing are email notices (selectable) when someone replies to a post, a new level of members, finishing the goddamn galleries already, a 'e-xard' type functionality for all images, lots of other stuff too. Curiously, most of my ideas i get just before i sleep, so I either forget them the next day or find them scrawled on whatever it was i was reading before the inkhimad. Anyhoo, this new topic/comment will be a handy place to put such ideas.
ALso, if anyone has an idea to post plz do so, we can discuss them here.

OOh, also, prevent individual comment pages from caching, hmmm make comments expandable /collapsable from the main page, add a better text editor for comments/posts, and member profiles.
Heck, i think i can even add a rudmintary spell checker. Polls too mebbe.

and maybe a page number at the end of the first page, so you can see the old posts without going to archives. also an option in configuration to choose the number of posts shown at once.

'Course, that leads to the point that the administration/configuration module will need to be re-fitted to show some options for the non-administrators, hmmm cookies again. Maybe cake.

Inshallah when its done, I will add a section called "How To Pose As Shadi: Tips n Tricks To Get The Chicks" Probably add it in the downloads as a small handy PDF.
About the drawings, I have been working on that too. A major part of the new release will be the new galleries page, which I'm still thinking on how to best implement. And I will upload all the old content then, as well as anything new.

Leave it to the master of the trade- mashallah- ha ha ha How about dividing the galleries into subsections according to your age when you made the drawing, or the year in which it was made, given that you remember date of most of 'em?

That can be done easily, as I'm planning to store the images in a datastore anyhoo, altho I havent decided to do so as BLOBs or just linked just yet. Today i removed the date restriction in the default page, i.e. instead of just showing posts from the last X number of days OR at most Y number of posts, I made it so that it will just show Y number of posts. Less annoying.
