site news. I'm thinking, since I'm going to do major changes to the site soon inshallah anyhow, of reimplementing the site in ASP.NET instead of classic ASP. It will take more time since I don't know ASP.NET ;) but I think it will be worth it as both a learning experience and a way to make the backend of the site more rugged and scalable. Also i should probably change from Access to SQL. Whew, lots of work. By Shadi. |

| site news. I will inshallah update the site soon, adding a portfolio/resume page and making some minor design modifications, as well as activating the themes module and fixing up the admin area. I have a big day tomorrow though, and will be swamped by work till maybe the end of september, so I dunno when I will be able to fully commit to this site, if ever :) By Shadi. |

| site news. Just to show that the best thing to get you going is a deadline.. another project's deadline, that is. I just completed the backend upgrade required for themes, and uploaded everything. Of course, you won't really notice anything, as I haven't made any themes yet, but the potential is now officially there. And inshallah I will do a couple soon. site news. Well, I know some people are dissapointed that the drawings aren't here yet. I am working on it :) Seriously, I might have some time to work on this site this weekend, and hopefully I'll be able to add all the old pencil drawings then. Problem is, I'm still tweaking the site's functionality and backend. One of the things almost done is the ability for the administrator(s) to switch between themes for the sit's look. Also, the administration area itself needs lots of work. And i want somewhere where i can show the administration pages to visitors... and the site map is still not there... the color section... the about me page.... AHHH! Oh, and i still need to make the '1-track-jukebox' on the left more presentable (just under the copyright notice, see the itty-bitty play button?) By Shadi. |
